About ESCAPADE
ESCAPADE would make a perfect live-aboard or a very comfortable extended weekender. Kadey-Krogen, known for their pairing of nautical function and innovation, designed the SeaDeck model of the Silhouette to provide an unsurpassed level of comfort, space and performance. The SeaDeck Silhouette 42 model went into production in 1987 with the last built in 1991, 12 hulls were built.
Once aboard, two steps up take you to the Control Deck / Pilot house which accommodates outside dining in comfort. Comfortably allowing guests to accompany the pilot when underway with its U-shaped settee, table and wet bar. The Pilot house has new canvas and windows providing a 360 viewing ... spectacular !! Moving from the helm area down 4 comfortable stairs you find yourself in a spacious midship salon, bright with natural light and fresh sea breezes. Moving forward is a full galley to port , head to starboard . Guest stateroom is forward with a large double pullman berth to port and settee to starboard with ample storage . Aft of the salon and down a level , the Master stateroom offers a new horizon with broad windows to starboard and sliding teak and glass doors that open wide to the private SeaDeck. Here you will find pure luxury with a walk-around double bed, vanity, private head with tub/shower, abundant stowage. Step out to a full enclosed cockpit or lower the transom and catch the beautiful sunrise reflecting off the still waters. There is also a second access to the Control Deck from this stern cockpit along the port side.
